Burglars take ATM from Calumet Heights restaurant: police

Two males used a van to pull open the door of the restaurant in the 1900 block of East 95th Street.

Eight burglaries were reported in late June 2020 on the Northwest Side.

Two people burglarized a restaurant Friday in Calumet Heights on the South Side.

The two males pulled up to the front door of the restaurant about 2:20 a.m. in the 1900 block of East 95th Street, Chicago police said. They tied a rope onto the door and used a van to force it open.

The males took the ATM inside the restaurant, police said. No one was injured.

No arrests have been made as Area South detectives investigate.
