A 39-year-old man was fatally gunned down Thursday in south suburban Harvey.

Kenny Stone was shot multiple times about 8 p.m. in the 16000 block of Halsted Street, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Stone was taken to Ingalls Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead within the hour, the medical examiner’s office said. He lived several blocks away from where he was shot.

An autopsy released Friday ruled his death a homicide, the medical examiner’s office said.
