Carjackings reported in Logan Square, Austin

In each incident, two men approached someone as they were getting into or standing near their vehicle and threatened them with a gun, Chicago police said.

Two more Chicago police officers have tested positive for coronavirurs, the department announced March 22, 2020.

Two carjackings were reported between July 9 and July 13, 2019 in Logan Square and Austin.

Chicago police are warning drivers about a pair of carjackings that occurred recently in Logan Square and Austin.

In each incident, two men approached someone as they were getting into their vehicle or standing near it and threatened them with a gun, Chicago police said. They took property off the victims, then drove away in their vehicles.

The robberies occurred about 5:20 p.m. July 9 in the 3700 block of West Lyndale Avenue and about 8:20 p.m. July 13 in the 5200 block of West Le Moyne Avenue, police said
