Chicago police are warning businesses in Brainerd of four reported burglaries in July.

In each incident two offenders dressed in dark clothing, wearing masks and gloves broke into the back doors of businesses and took cash registers and a safe, according to a community alert from Chicago police.

The incidents happened July 15 in the 9200 block of South Halsted Street, July 18 in the 1400 block of West 95th Street and two businesses were targeted July 19 in the 1300 block of West 95th Street, police said.

Anyone with information about these burglaries is asked to call Area South detectives at 312-747-8273.
