Two men were wounded in a shooting Sunday in Park Manor on the South Side.

A 26-year-old man was sitting in a vehicle about 5:40 a.m. in the first block of West 71st Street when a white SUV pulled up along side of him and someone fired shots, Chicago police said.

He was struck in the head and rushed to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he was in serious condition, police said.

A second man, 22, was hit in the back and took himself to Saint Bernard Hospital, police said. His condition was stabilized.

Area South detectives are investigating the shooting.
