Four burglaries were reported between July 14 and July 18, 2019 in Grand Crossing on the South Side.

Chicago police are warning Grand Crossing residents about a series of burglaries that occurred in July in the South Side neighborhood.

In most incidents, one or more burglars entered an apartment through the rear window and stole property from inside, Chicago police said. There was one incident in which a business was broken into by the front door.

The burglaries happened at all hours of the day between July 14 and July 18 in:

· The 1500 block of East 67th Street;

· The 1400 block of East 67th Place;

· The 6800 block of South Dorchester Avenue; and

· The 1400 block of East 68th Street.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
