Three people were wounded in a shooting Sunday in Riverdale on the Far South Side.

They were walking on the sidewalk about 12:14 a.m. in the 13000 block of South Evans Avenue when a male on foot unleashed gunfire, Chicago police said.

A man, 47, was shot in the chest and arms, police said. He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition.

Two women, 20 and 23, were grazed in the arm, police said. Their conditions were stabilized at Roseland Community Hospital.

No one is in custody as Area South detectives investigate.

Another group of people was wounded in a shooting Sunday in Lawndale.
