A man was found beaten to death Jan. 24, 2020 in the 6400 block of South Oakley Avenue.

A man was found dead Friday at a home in Englewood on the South Side, according to police.

Terrell English, 48, was found about 5:10 p.m. in a vacant home in the 6400 block of South Oakley Avenue with blunt force trauma to the head, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

An autopsy conducted Saturday found that he was assaulted and died from his injuries, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. His death has been ruled a homicide.

No arrests have been made. Area Central detectives continue to investigate.
