Man found fatally shot in Bronzeville

The man, 42, was found in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle about 12:50 a.m. in the 700 block of East 42nd Street, Chicago police said.

A man was shot to death Thursday in Bronzeville on the South Side.

The man, 42, was found in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle about 12:50 a.m. in the 700 block of East 42nd Street, Chicago police said. He had been shot several times in the body, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified his as being Imani Heath. He lived in South Saint Paul, Minn.

Area One detectives are investigating.
