A 52-year-old man was fatally stabbed Friday morning in Marquette Park on the Southwest Side.

About 3:15 a.m., he was arguing with a man he knew in an apartment in the 6800 block of South Talman Avenue when the man pulled out a knife and stabbed the 52-year-old multiple times, Chicago police said.

He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified him Vincell Jackson, a resident of Gresham.

A 29-year-old man is in custody, according to police.

Area One detectives are investigating.
