Man killed in West Garfield Park shooting

Terrence Goodlow, 27, was in the 3900 block of West Jackson Boulevard when someone opened fire, striking him in the chest, police said.

A man was shot to death Friday in West Garfield Park.

About 8:30 p.m., the 27-year-old was in the 3900 block of West Jackson Boulevard when someone opened fire, striking him in the chest, Chicago police said.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified him as Terrence Goodlow.

Area Four detectives are investigating.
