Armed robber hits 4 cellphone phone stores in Little Village: police

Four robberies have occurred since October, according to police.

Police say four robberies have happened at mobile phone stores in Little Village over the last two months.

An armed robber has targeted four cellphone stores in Little Village since October, according to police.

In each of the incidents, a man showed a gun or knife and demanded property by force, according to Chicago police.

The robberies happened:

  • about 12:20 p.m. Oct. 7 in the 2000 block of West Cermak Road;
  • about 3:30 p.m. Oct. 23. in the 2800 block of West Cermak Road;
  • about 4:50 p.m. Oct. 23 in the 3200 block of West 26th Street; and
  • about 12:45 p.m. Nov. 29 in the 3200 block of West 26th Street.

The suspect is between 30 and 45 years old, police said.

Police asked anyone with tips to call Area Four detectives at 312-746-8253.
