Burglars target Park Manor apartments, garages

Police are warning South Side residents about a string of burglaries last month in Park Manor.

At least one suspect entered apartments or garages to steal items, Chicago police said in a community alert.

The burglaries happened:

  • About 11:50 a.m. Feb. 19 in the 7300 block of South Langley Avenue;
  • About 9:50 p.m. Feb. 20 in the 7400 block of South Evans Avenue;
  • About 6 p.m. Feb. 21 in the 7400 block of South Langley Avenue; and
  • About 11 a.m. Feb. 22 in the 7400 block of South Langley Avenue.

One of the break-ins involved two suspects, police said. One of them was a male wearing a mask.
