Teen girl among 2 wounded in Lithuanian Plaza shooting

A male emerged from an alley and fired shots, striking a 17-year-old girl and a 52-year-old man.

Two people were shot, one fatally, July 24, 2021, in Gage Park.

Two people were shot April 15, 2020, in the 6900 block of South Western Avenue.

A 17-year-old girl and a man were wounded in a shooting Wednesday in Lithuanian Plaza on the Southwest Side.

They were on the sidewalk about 7:35 p.m. on South Western Avenue when a male emerged from an alley and fired shots, Chicago police said.

The teen was struck in the thigh and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, while the 52-year-old man was hit in the leg and taken to Holy Cross Hospital, police said. Both were listed in good condition.

No arrests have been reported. Area Central detectives are investigating.
