Teen found shot in Humboldt Park

The 17-year-old boy was found shot in the arm and leg after he ran from the scene of a shooting, police said.

A man was fatally shot and another wounded July 8, 2021, in Wentworth Gardens.

A teen was found shot April 3, 2020, in Humboldt Park.

A teen boy was found with gunshot wounds Friday in Humboldt Park on the West Side.

Officers found the 17-year-old about 11:30 p.m. on the porch of a home shot in the arm and leg, Chicago police said. The teen ran from the scene of a shooting in the same neighborhood, but it is unknown where the gunfire came from.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in fair condition, police said.

No one is in custody as Area North detectives investigate.
