Businesses burglarized in Cragin: police

Four burglaries happened within the same two blocks, police said.

Four businesses were burglarized in two days in May in Cragin on the Northwest Side.

In each incident someone broke the window or the front glass door of a business and stole money from the registers and property, according to a community alert from Chicago police.

The burglaries happened about 8:40 p.m. May 16 and about 1 a.m. May 17 in the 5100 block of West Fullerton Avenue and about 12:55 a.m. and 1 a.m. May 17 in the 5000 block of West Fullerton Avenue, police said.
