Man found fatally shot in Longwood Manor

A 32-year-old man was found shot to death Saturday in Longwood Manor on the South Side.

He was discovered in a home about 7:46 p.m. in the 1300 block of West 97th Place with a gunshot wound to the armpit area, Chicago police said. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified him as Keith Moore. He lived in Bronzeville on the South Side.

An autopsy conducted Sunday confirmed Moore died of his gunshot wounds, the medical examiner’s office said. His death was ruled a homicide.

No one is in custody. Area Two detectives are investigating.
