Police are warning businesses in East Pilsen of a string of burglaries.

In the last month, a middle-aged man pried open doors at three businesses and stolen various items, Chicago police said in a community alert.

The burglaries happened:

  • about 6:30 a.m. April 19 in the 2000 block of South Lumber Street;
  • about 1:50 a.m. May 2 in the 500 block of West Cermak Road; and
  • about 7 a.m. May 4 in the 2000 block of South Lumber Street.

Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 312-744-8263.
