A man was killed in a shooting Saturday in Humboldt Park on the West Side.
Officers responding to reports of shots fired about 3:45 a.m. found the male unresponsive in the 1300 block of North Kildare Avenue, according to Chicago police.
He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds to his head and body, police said. He was pronounced dead.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified him as 30-year-old Victor Hudson. He lived in Humboldt Park.
An autopsy conduct confirmed that Hudson died of his gunshot wounds, the medical examiner’s office said. His death was ruled a homicide.
No one is in custody as Area Five detectives investigate.
