Man shot to death in Parkway Gardens

Officers responding to reports of gunfire found 23-year-old Armond Procter on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds in the 6300 block of South King Drive, authorities said.

A man was killed in a shooting Friday in Parkway Gardens on the South Side.

Officers responding to reports of gunfire just after midnight found the 23-year-old man on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds in the 6300 block of South King Drive, according to Chicago police. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified him as Armond T. Procter of Gresham.

No one is in custody as Area One detectives investigate.
