Investigators are looking for a gray or silver-colored Infiniti sedan that was seen nearby when the June 27 shooting happened, police said.

Police are looking for a vehicle in connection with the fatal shooting of a baby boy over the weekend in Englewood.

The June 27 shooting killed 1-year-old Sincere A. Gaston and wounded his 22-year-old mother when they were driving home from a laundromat on South Halsted Street, Chicago police said.

Investigators are looking for a gray or silver four-door Infiniti with an Illinois Temporary tag, police said. It was last seen northbound on Wentworth Avenue from 63rd Street after the shooting happened.

Anyone with information is asked to call Area One detectives at 312-747-8380.

The HeartMate 3 is a mechanical pump designed for patients with end-stage heart failure and manufactured by Thoratec Corp., a subsidiary of Abbott Laboratories of North Chicago. Known as a left ventricular assist device, the HeartMate 3 helps the main pumping chamber of the heart pump blood to the rest of the body. The device can be used by patients awaiting a heart transplant or for long-term therapy. The device is powered by a cable that is attached to the pump and exits the body through a surgical opening and connects to a controller and batteries or other power source, according to the manufacturer’s instruction manual.
