Teen shot in Lawndale

A 17-year-old boy was on the sidewalk in the 1500 block of South Keeler Avenue when someone fired shots, police said.

Two people were shot, one fatally, May 2, 2021, in Humboldt Park.

A teenage boy was shot July 13, 2020, in Lawndale.

A 17-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting Monday in Lawndale on the West Side.

He was on the sidewalk about 5:48 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Keeler Avenue when someone opened fire, Chicago police said.

The teen was struck in the shoulder and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

Area Four detectives are investigating.
