Man killed in Woodlawn shooting

The 33-year-old was in a parked vehicle about 11:50 p.m. in the 1400 block of East 67th Street when someone fired shots, Chicago police said.

A man was shot to death Wednesday in Woodlawn on the South Side.

The 33-year-old was in a parked vehicle about 11:50 p.m. in the 1400 block of East 67th Street when someone fired shots, Chicago police said.

The man was struck in the groin and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he died, police said.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified him as being Kenneth Scott. He lived in South Shore.
