Girl, 13, wounded in shooting on the Near West Side

The girl was in an alley about 2:10 p.m. in the 2000 block of West Harrison Street, when she heard shots and felt a pain.

Two boys, both 17, were shot July 12, 2022, in Austin. — A 13-year-old girl was wounded in a shooting July 25, 2020, in the 2000 block of West Harrison Street.

A 13-year-old girl was wounded in a shooting Saturday on the Near West Side.

About 2:10 p.m., she was in an alley in the 2000 block of West Harrison Street when she heard shots and felt a pain, Chicago police said.

She was struck in the right leg and taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

Area Four detectives are investigating.
