A woman was shot to death Saturday in West Garfield Park on the West Side.

She was found on a back porch about 2:42 a.m. in the 4500 block of West West End Avenue with gunshot wounds to her back, Chicago police said. The woman was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified her as Briana P. Ferguson, 23, of Lawndale.

No one is in custody as Area Four detectives investigate.

The woman, 21, and the 15-year-old boy were shot about 9:20 p.m. in the 9300 block of South Bishop Street, police said.
The boy was struck as he stood on a sidewalk about 10 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Sawyer Avenue.
In addition to the girl, two boys, ages 1 and 7, were each shot multiple times. Five adults were also wounded.
