Man killed in South Chicago shooting: police

The 35-year-old was shot multiple times and taken to Trinity Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

A 35-year-old man was killed in a shooting Friday in South Chicago.

The was found on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds at 12:43 a.m. in the 8800 block of South Burley Avenue, according to Chicago police.

Travis B. Curry was taken to Trinity Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

No one is in custody as Area Two detectives investigate.
