One man was killed and another was wounded in a shooting Friday at a gas station in Humboldt Park.
Jamil Williamson, 21, was struck multiple times about 8:30 p.m. while he was at the gas station in the 900 block of North Pulaski Road, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
The shooter opened fired after driving up to the two men, police said.
Williamson was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to authorities. He lived in Humboldt Park.
The other man, 20, later showed up at the same hospital and was treated for a gunshot wound to a shoulder, according to the police, who said he was in good condition.
Police tape cordoned off an area at the Shell gas station at Pulaski and Iowa Street. A red car with a bullet hole on the driver’s side window was parked just beyond the pumps.
No arrests have been reported.
