Man wanted for burglarizing businesses in Heart of Chicago, Little Village: police

Two businesses were burglarized Dec. 31 and Jan 7 on the Lower West Side.

Police are searching for a man wanted in a pair of burglaries since late December in the Little Village and Heart of Chicago neighborhoods.

In each incident, a man between 30 and 40 years old forced his way into a business and stole property, Chicago police said in a community alert.

The burglaries happened :

  • about 1:45 a.m. Dec. 31 in the 2100 block of West Cermak Road; and
  • about 4:30 a.m. Jan. 7 in the 2400 block of West Cermak Road.
