Man charged in August downtown looting

A 30-year-old man is facing felony charges in connection to downtown looting in August.

Gerone Tate allegedly stole items from a business Aug. 9 in the 500 block of North Michigan Avenue, Chicago police said.

He arrested Wednesday morning in Little Village on the Southwest Side, police said.

Tate was due back in court Thursday on charges of burglary and looting.
