Three people were seriously wounded in a shooting Friday morning in Austin on the West Side.

Police responded to 14 shots fired in a possible drive-by about 11:45 a.m. near Washington Boulevard and Laramie Avenue, according to preliminary information from Chicago police.

Two males were taken to Stroger Hospital, while a third male was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, police said.

They were listed in serious-to-critical condition, Chicago fire spokesman Larry Merritt said.
