Akira Flowers, a 9-year-old girl who was reportedly kidnapped by her aunt Friday, has been found safe, Chicago police said.

Police canceled her missing person alert Saturday morning saying she had been located safely but didn’t provide additional details.

The incident remains under investigation by Area Three detectives.
