15-year-old boy shot in Brighton Park

He was on the sidewalk about 7 p.m. in the 4400 block of South Talman Avenue when someone fired shots, striking him in the foot, Chicago police said.

A 15-year-old boy was shot Saturday in Brighton Park on the Southwest Side.

He was on the sidewalk about 7 p.m. in the 4400 block of South Talman Avenue when someone fired shots, striking him in the foot, Chicago police said.

The teen was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

Area One detectives are investigating.
