A man was shot and critically wounded Tuesday evening in Humboldt Park on the Northwest Side.

The 24-year-old was shot in the right side of the buttocks and left side of his body about 6 p.m. while standing on the corner in the 1000 block of North Springfield Avenue, Chicago police said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.

No one was in custody.
