6-year-old girl grazed in the arm while sitting on porch with family in West Englewood

The girl was hurt when someone in a passing black Dodge Charger opened fire in the 6600 block of South Seeley Avenue, Chicago police said.

A man was killed in a shooting June 7, 2020, in the 12300 block of South Wallace Street in West Pullman.

A 6-year-old girl was grazed by gunfire in a drive-by shooting Tuesday night in West Englewood on the South Side.

The girl was sitting on a porch with family members in the 6600 block of South Seeley Avenue when a black Dodge Charger passed by and someone inside opened fire about 9:25 p.m., grazing her twice in the arm, Chicago police said.

She was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in good condition, police said.

Police say one of the adults with the girl may have been the target.

No one was in custody.
