A woman was fatally shot Tuesday night in Chicago Lawn on the South Side.

She was driving in the 3400 block of West 60th Place about 10:20 p.m. when someone in a black Jeep pulled alongside and opened fire, striking her in the head, Chicago police said.

Jazlyn Quintasia Hyatte, 21, was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where she was pronounced dead, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

No one was in custody.
