A 16-year-old boy was shot Saturday in East Garfield Park on the West Side.
About 1:15 p.m., he was walking in the 3400 block of West Lake Street, when he heard shots and felt a pain, Chicago police said.
He was struck in the leg and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he is in good condition, police said.
Area Four detectives are investigating.
