Man killed in South Shore shooting

Quinhon T. Douglas, 19, was shot in the head Sunday afternoon in the 6700 block of South Merrill Avenue, Chicago police said.

A 4-year-old boy was shot Apr. 7, 2022, in Gresham.

One person was killed in shooting Nov. 21, 2021, in South Shore.

A man was killed in a shooting Sunday afternoon in the South Shore neighborhood.

Quinhon T. Douglas, 19, was shot in the head about 4:40 p.m. in the 6700 block of South Merrill Avenue, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

There was no one in custody.
