A man was shot to death after after opening fire at someone Thursday morning in Marquette Park, according to police.

Ralph Miller, 30, got into an argument with someone in a vehicle in an alley about 6:30 a.m. in the 2700 block of West 65th Street, Chicago police said.

Miller pulled out a gun and opened fire, police said. The man in the car then pulled out his own gun and opened fire, striking him, police said.

Miller was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The man who returned fire, age 37, had a valid concealed carry license, wasn’t injured, police said.
