Owner of Harvey nightclub charged with underreporting sales on tax forms

The owner allegedly substantially underreported the sales of the club, Arnie’s Idle Hour, in the south suburbs.

A 55-year-old woman was charged with attempted murder in the stabbing of her ex-boyfriend on March 5, 2022, in East Garfield Park.

The owner of a Harvey nightclub faces federal charges after allegedly filing fraudulent income tax returns for six years.

Alicia Arnold, formerly of Homer Glen, substantially underreported the sales of the club, Arnie’s Idle Hour, at 85 W. 147th St., according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Northern Illinois District.

Arnold, 51, who now lives in Las Vegas, was hit with six counts of filing a false income tax return. She allegedly filed the false returns from 2012 through 2017.

She pleaded not guilty Wednesday and was expected back in court March 3.
