Man critically wounded in Loop stabbing

Someone walked up and stabbed the man in the abdomen about 8:35 p.m. as he walked with another person in the first block of East Randolph Street, Chicago police said.

A 23-year-old man was critically wounded when he was stabbed Friday in the Loop.

Someone walked up and stabbed the man in the abdomen about 8:35 p.m. as he walked with another person in the first block of East Randolph Street, Chicago police said.

The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition, police said.

Area Three detectives are investigating.
