A 65-year-old woman was shot Monday morning in Gage Park on the South Side.

About 11:30 a.m., she was in the alley of the 5900 block of South Campbell Avenue when she heard shots and felt pain, Chicago police said.

The woman suffered a gunshot wound to her hand and took herself to Holy Cross Hospital where she was listed in good condition, police said.

Police did not provide a description of the shooter.

No one was in custody, police said.
