Police are warning of five businesses that were burglarized in March 2021, in West Town.

Chicago police are warning residents of a string of burglaries reported in West Town on the West Side.

In each incident, someone used a tool to pry open a door, and stole items such as laptop computers and tools, Chicago police said in a community alert.

The burglaries happened:

  • About 2:30 a.m. March 4 in the 400 block of North Ada Street;
  • About 3:30 a.m. March 7 and about 12:15 a.m. March 18 in the 1400 block of West Carroll Street;
  • Between 3:20 a.m. and 9 a.m. March 24 in the 400 block of North Aberdeen Street; and
  • Between 7:45 a.m. March 24 and 9 a.m. March 25 in the 1500 block of West Carroll Street.
