Man stabbed in the neck on CTA platform in East Garfield Park

The man was attacked after getting into an argument with another man on a CTA platform in the 500 block of South Pulaski Road, Chicago police said.

Two people were hospitalized after a fight broke out June 5, 2022 at an Englewood CTA station.

A man suffered serious stab wounds after getting into an argument with another man on a CTA platform in East Garfield Park on the West Side early Tuesday, according to Chicago police.

The man, 28, was stabbed in the neck around 12:25 a.m. on the platform in the 500 block of South Pulaski Road, police said.

He was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in serious condition, police said.

Police released no description of the attacker and no one was reported in custody.

Area Four detectives are investigating.
