15-year-old boy shot in Englewood

The teen suffered a gunshot wound to the right leg and a graze wound to the neck.

A 15-year-old boy was shot Monday evening while walking on a sidewalk in Englewood on the South Side.

The teen was found about 6:15 p.m. in the 7100 block of South Emerald Avenue with a gunshot wound to the right leg and a graze wound to the neck, police said.

He was transported to Comer Children’s Hospital in good condition, according to police.

Chicago fire officials initially reported the boy was in critical condition.

No one was in custody, police said.
