Woman seriously hurt in Lake View hit-and-run

The woman was crossing the intersection of Addison Street and Janssen Avenue when a Hyundai Elantra struck her, Chicago police said.

A man died days after a shooting June 4, 2022, in North Lawndale. — A woman was seriously injured in a hit-and-run May 11, 2021, in Lake View.

A woman was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident Tuesday evening in Lake View on the North Side.

The woman, 21, was crossing the intersection of Addison Street and Janssen Avenue about 6:10 p.m. when a Hyundai Elentra struck her, Chicago police said.

The woman was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in serious condition, according to police.

No one was in custody, police said.
