Police seek trio after car dealerships are burglarized in Northwest Side

Two car dealerships were broken into Friday in West Town and Logan Square.

Two dealerships were burglarized early Friday in Northwest Side neighborhoods.

About 2:20 a.m., three suspects forced entry into a dealership in the 2500 block of North Elston Avenue in Logan Square, Chicago police said.

The trio attempted to drive off with one of the vehicles but were unsuccessful and left the scene, police said.

Minutes later, they broke into another dealership in the 1300 block of North Elston Avenue in West Town, police said.

The group was armed with a hangun but when they stopped an employee they left the scene, according to police.

The suspects are between 16 to 25 years old, police said.
