A 27-year-old man was fatally shot Sunday in south suburban Harvey.

The shooting happened about 12:45 a.m. in the 14100 block of Lincoln Avenue, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Demarco Collins suffered a gunshot wound to the back and was pronounced dead at Ingalls Memorial Hospital, the medical examiner’s office said. An autopsy ruled his death a homicide.

Harvey officials didn’t immediately release details.
