Two car dealerships were burglarized last week in Belmont Cragin on the Northwest Side.

The first burglary happened about 5:05 p.m. April 26 at Barnes Auto Group, 2125 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago police said.

About five hours later, the Autobank at 2310 N. Cicero Ave. was broken into as well, police said.

In both instances, the burglar got inside the dealership and stole auto parts by breaking a glass window or pushing in an air conditioner, police said.

The suspect is a man with facial hair in his early 20s, standing between 6-feet and 6-foot-2 and weighing between 170 and 190 pounds, police said.
