Cellphone store burglarized in Ukrainian Village

Surveillance video shows a person fleeing the store with two bags of merchandise.

Five people were hurt in a stabbing March 3, 2022 in Logan Square. — A cellphone store was burglarized May 5, 2021, in the 2300 block of West Chicago Avenue.

A cellphone store was burglarized Wednesday morning in Ukrainian Village on the West Side.

About 2:30 a.m., officers responded to an alarm at a business in the 2300 block of West Chicago Avenue and found the front entrance of a cellphone store had been broken into, Chicago police said.

Surveillance video showed a person fleeing with two bags of merchandise, police said. He was last seen going east on Chicago Avenue.

No one was reported in custody.
