The body of a woman was recovered from Lake Michigan near Navy Pier Friday morning.

Police and fire crews were called to the 600 block of East Grand Avenue around 6:25 a.m., according to Chicago Police. They recovered the body of a woman, believed to be in her 30s.

No other details were released. Police said detectives were conducting a death investigation.
